In the first semi final of End of the Year Melodifestivalen, 5 of the 10 songs will face each other. In this blog post, you will be able to find everything about this exciting semi final!

VOTING SYSTEM

Of course, the public has to decide the points! Vote for your top 5 by casting your votes by mailing endoftheyearsongcontest@gmail.com or DM Timselvision (@CalmAfterTheTim) your votes on Twitter. You can cast your votes by giving your top 5 the points 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. 

WHO WILL QUALIFY?

The two songs with the most points will go directly to the final. The 3rd and 4th song will go to Andra Chancen and the 5th song will get kicked out of the competition to represend Sweden in the very first End of the Year Eurovision Song Contest. 

DEADLINE TO VOTE?

The deadline to vote is 2nd of November 22:00. Shortly after this, the results will be anounced and another semi will be posted on this blog. 

End of the Year Melodifestivalen 2014

SWEDEN, a country with an amazing music industry, decided to take part in this year´s End of the Year Eurovision Song Contest (information about this) and has also decided to use a national final in order to find out who will win the ticket to the Contest in this year´s December, which has the most amazing songs from music year 2014. It´s actually quite the same as the Melodifestivalen you´ve seen earlier this year, but there are ´just´ two semis - and 20 songs. The best ten songs in this edition will go to an amazing final, where the best songs will be able to face each other.
